A US pet brand came to PETSWAY with a woodland animal theme. From that starting point, we created three original plush toy designs and developed the collection through sampling and bulk production. The order has now been delivered.
Turning a theme into three original designs
The customer provided the theme, while PETSWAY developed the individual animal designs. Our team also proposed the fabrics and colour palette for the customer’s approval, giving the three toys a coordinated look while keeping each character distinctive.
Working through the details
During sampling, we refined the head-to-body proportions to improve the overall balance of the designs. Strengthening the construction was another development priority.
The toys use fabric laminated with a mesh backing, with black binding tape along the outer joining edges. These construction details were selected to reinforce the fabric and seams while forming part of the collection’s visual character.
From approved samples to delivery
Following sample approval, the collection moved into bulk production and has since been delivered. The project brought together PETSWAY’s original design, material selection, sample refinement and production coordination around one customer brief.
